The Perfect Burn

During the first use (after the Fortune Ritual), allow the candle to burn until the surface wax has completely melted. This will help prevent tunneling and ensure a longer-lasting candle, while avoiding residue on the glass walls. To maintain a perfect burn, we recommend not exceeding 4 hours of continuous burning.

Place your lit candle in a draft-free area to prevent unwanted smoke.

Finally, snuff out the candle flame rather than blowing on it to prevent the production of black smoke and soot.

Wick Care

To enhance your experience, be sure to trim the wick to 5 mm above the wax surface before each use. This removes excess length and prevents a flame that is too high, which could smoke, produce soot, and shorten the burn time.

Additionally, once the candle is extinguished, be sure to reposition the wick if necessary. This ensures an even burn and helps prevent residue buildup.
